SHOW HOTEL
The show hotel is Days Inn-Anchorage, 321 East Fifth Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska 99501, (907) 276-7226, http://www.daysinnalaska.com/.
Rates start at $58.65 per single/double standard room, per night plus 12% tax. There is a $10 deposit per pet/day. Pets are kept in smoking rooms only, so if this is a problem, please use one of the alternative hotels. Animals left alone in your room must be in a kennel for security, maintenance and housekeeping reasons. There is an airport shuttle. There is a Country Kitchen restaurant directly across the street from the hotel. The Days Inn is less than two miles from the show hall and is in downtown Anchorage. If you do not have a car and are staying at the show hotel, please indicate on your summary sheet that you will need a ride to and from the show hall. For exhibitors needing non-smoking pet rooms, we suggest the Best Western Barratt Inn, 4616 Spenard Road, Anchorage, AK 99517, 1-800-221-7550 or the Motel 6 at 5000 A Street, Anchorage, AK 99503, Phone: (907) 677-8000 and is located 2.9 miles South of Downtown Anchorage. The Barratt has an airport shuttle and restaurant. The Motel 6 does not. If you stay at the Barratt Inn or the Motel 6 you will need to rent a car as we are unable to provide rides for these hotels. Other Fur Rondy rates for these hotels may be listed at http://www.furrondy.net under travel specials.
SHOW HALL
First United Methodist Church Gym, 725 W. 9th Ave in downtown Anchorage. Enter and exit using door number 3 at the back of the church.
SHOW HALL PARKING
Park in the church lot on Saturday. On Sunday, please park on the street or in the large parking lot (lot 80) that is to the northeast of the church parking lot. This lot is free on the weekends. That way the church has their parking for services.
SATURDAY LUNCH
The church is offering a lunch to exhibitors who sign up ahead of time for $8 in the church kitchen. The menu usually includes an entree, a dessert and coffee or iced tea. Please sign up on the entry form if you want to enjoy lunch at the church.
RING CLERKS AND MASTER CLERK
If you would like to clerk, please indicate this on your summary sheet. We particularly need head ring clerks. Clerks will receive lunch, plus $25 for each full day of clerking. Clerks will be paid after clerking; do not deduct clerking fees from entry fees. Preference will be given to those clerks in the TICA clerking program.

All cats must be present during advertised show hours unless granted special permission to leave by the show manager.

Sunday: Check in starts at 10:30 a.m. Judging starts at 11 a.m. Due to church considerations, advertised public show hours are 11:30a.m. to 4 p.m. Cats not present at the start of judging will be marked absent.
ENTRY FEES

Registration must show both owner's names. No entry fees will be refunded after final closing date. All fees must accompany entries. Fees for entries sent via the web must be received within one week of entry. Alaskats accepts no responsibility for errors due to illegibility or mistakes on entry forms. Calls to exhibitors outside of Anchorage will be made collect.

FOOD/LITTER
Cat litter will be provided. Please bring food, litter pans and dishes.
CAGES
Per TICA rules, only one cat or two kittens will be allowed per single cage, and two cats or three kittens per double cage. A single cage is 27" wide x 22" tall x 22" deep. A double cage is 22" tall, 22" deep and 55" wide. Bring curtains, towels, or other material to cover the top, floor sides and back of cage. Each cat will be assigned a single cage. If you enter two cats, you will get two single cages which can be converted into a double cage. If you want a double cage for a single entry, you must pay for an additional half-cage and request it on the summary sheet.
HEALTH
This is a non-vetted show. Every cat that enters the show hall must conform to normally accepted health requirements and be up-to-date on its vaccinations. No cats may be shown from a household where there has been an infectious illness or disease (including parasites) within 21 days prior to the show. Front and back claws must be clipped. Cats suspected of contagious or infectious illness will be removed from the show hall.
EXHIBITION/FOR SALE
Exhibition/For Sale cages are available to exhibitors only! You must complete an entry form for each kitten or cat for sale or on exhibition. The catalog will list the Exhibition and For Sale entries; per TICA rules, no cat or kitten will be allowed in the show hall if it is not listed in the show catalog. There will be absolutely no sales allowed from carriers. All kittens must be four months old or older.
HOUSEHOLD PETS (HHPs)
Almost any cat can be shown as a household pet. If it is over 8 months old, it must be altered (neutered or spayed). Household pets from 4 to 8 months old are entered in the Household Pet Kitten class and can either be altered or unaltered. Your cat does not have to be registered in TICA to compete as a household pet; however it must be registered in order to claim titles, such as Master or Grand Master, and to earn points towards TICA's Annual Awards. When entering a Household Pet, be sure to indicate the cat's color and pattern on the entry form (please call the entry clerk if you have any questions).
SHOW RULES
All exhibitors agree to abide by and uphold the show rules of TICA. Championship adults, alters, and Korats must be registered in TICA to be shown. Show rules and registration information are available from TICA (The International Cat Association), P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551
